The ceremony of the award was held at the 63 Symposium of the Society for Science on Form, at Tokyo University on Science in June 16th 2007. Award Winners were introduced to participants. |

Fine works: The winner are Ms. Machiko Ohta and Ms. Miyako Tanaka. And, Mr. Miyamoto who is their teacher when they were high school students last year. (lower picture) They hit upon an idea of a device from his lunch dish, to sculpture polyhedron out by using Zometool. They spent six months to finish the article after calculating and testing many times. But they told that they found the fun of Mathematics, which was never given from study for examination. |
| The Second Best Award: The winner is Ms.Naoko Kishimoto. She works at Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. She announced her article, which used Zometool as a tool for constructing Hierarchical Modular Structures. |

Mr Ishii said that he had struggled at laboratory of University before "Green Line" was released. After he heard the news about the release of "Green Line" nine years ago, he have mastered using it perfectly he thought, and tried to build this work. And that is the point why The Judging Committee members praised. See his wonderful works !! He displayed an unfinished model to let us understand easly about the inside structure. |
